 Today was a simple training session with me, Jason, and Sam at Jason's house.

It was round-robin, with each person staying in for two five-minute rounds and then sitting one out.  

From here on, I will be keeping track of classes attended for "promotion purposes."  Classes does not equate to automatic promotion, of course, but it provides a good gauge.

THURSDAY, 2 MAY 2024

Today's class had Sam, Eddie, Chad, and Brady.

I promoted Sam to two stripes on his white belt, Eddie to one stripe on his white belt, and Chad to one stripe on his white belt.  Unfortunately, Chad changed out before I obtained a picture.

SATURDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER 2021

Today's class had me, Jason, Ryan, Josh M., Rebecca, and Duy. We worked on three kesa gatame (head and arm) escapes and two scissor sweep variations. Three, 6-minute rolling sessions at the end rounded out the practice.

23 SEPTEMBER 2021 BJJ TRAINING

Today was just a pure rolling session with me, Rebecca, and Duy. We rotated in and had eight, five-minute rounds for a quick workout.

22 MAY 2021: CHARLES DOS ANJOS SEMINAR AT WOLFPACK BJJ ORANGE PARK

For the first time in a long time, we hosted my instructor, Charles Dos Anjos, for a seminar here in Orange Park. We had a great turnout, on Professor Charles' birthday no less, and the promotion of Jason Compton to black belt. Jason is the second person I have trained from white to black belt, and the first I have promoted in my own right.
