We had good turnouts at BJJ and judo. For BJJ, it was me, Nick, Jason, Ethan, Jacqui, and a guy named Paul that goes to school with Ethan. For judo, we added Greg (of course), Christy and Hari (sp?).
Paul is a high school wrestler who "does BJJ at the YMCA" with "A.J." I don't know A.J. Regardless, Paul tried some ill-advised submissions when I let him start in dominant positions on me. All in all, I spent a long time grappling with him (ass-whippings are free, but lessons cost money), and I even gave him a few pure wrestling matches just for fun. I taught him that using the elbows to "hit pressure points on the thighs" and open the guard does not work against someone with training.
